PLAYING LEVEL – RECREATION
The Sandy Spring Soccer Club (SSSC) offers 12 weeks of indoor winter soccer clinics for Recreation level players who want to continue to play soccer during the winter. This clinic is for Girls only and is held 1 (one) time per week.
During our Winter clinic, we follow the SSSC training curriculum for development in a fun learning environment. There will be constant positive instruction, encouragement, and feedback throughout our clinics. Players will play with a Futsal ball during the winter to help them to get a lot of touches on the ball. Their improved touches will translate on the field as they return outdoors in the spring.
There will be a lot of 1 v 1, 2 v 1, 2 v 2, and 3 v 3 play during our clinics. We follow the U.S. Soccer curriculum of Play, Practice, Play, so the kids will play a ton.
Who: Girls born between 2018 – 2014.
Location: Cloverly Elementary School (800 Briggs Chaney Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)
Time: 5:15 pm – 6:15 pm (Kids born 2018, 2017, 2016)
What to bring:
- Indoor soccer shoes or running shoes
- Shin-guards
- Water
Cost: $255 (members), $285 (non-members)
