SSSC forms partnership with Marcet Academy of Spain

The Sandy Spring Soccer Club is proud to announce that through its partnership with the NACTM Soccer Camps that it has formed an agreement with Marcet Academy of Spain to take trips to Europe during the summer. Since the SSSC doesn’t have teams of travel age yet to take trips, it will be forming summer teams in the U-14 – U-16 age groups to travel during the summer. This experience will offer players with the opportunity to play against some of the best academy clubs in Spain. SSSC Director Justin Reid explains, “Cultural exchanges in soccer are very important for players to take part in because it will help to open up the mind. The U.S. is not the only country in the world who plays soccer, so it is important that we open up young minds to new opportunities and adventures. That is what this partnership will help us do.”
